THURSDAY, 11TH OCTOBER 2018

 AM – sailors start arriving

12.30 – 2.30pm – Registration under the Fig Tree

Lunch will not be provided (various take-away options are available on the island)

3.15pm – Containers with Optis arrive – all Clubs on hand to off-load to race site

If time allows sailors can practice

7.00pm – Dinner at Tropic Hut

 

 

FRIDAY, 12TH OCTOBER 2018

7.30am – breakfast under the Fig Tree

8.30am (or 9am) – Skippers meeting

10.00am (or 10.30am) – Warning signal for first race (depends on Cayman sailors arrival)

12.30pm – lunch

1.30pm – Warning signal for afternoon races

6.30pm – Opti AGM at Sunsets Bar, Romora Bay

7.15pm – Dinner at Sunsets, Romora Bay

 

 

SATURDAY, 13TH OCTOBER 2018

7.30am – breakfast under the Fig Tree

8.30am – Skippers meeting

10.00am – Warning signal for first race 

12.30pm – lunch

1.30pm – Warning signal for afternoon races 

Boats will be reloaded into the containers immediately after the races have ended – All Clubs will need to be on hand to help

6.30pm – Awards Presentation at the Harbour Island Sailing Club Boathouse

7.15pm – Awards Dinner at the Harbour Island Sailing Club Boathouse

 

 

MEALS

 

ALL SAILORS MEALS FROM THURSDAY EVENING TO SATURDAY EVENING ARE PAID FOR BY THE HARBOUR ISLAND SAILING CLUB

 

PARENTS, COACHES, CHAPERONES AND ANY NON-SAILORS ARE TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN MEALS

Sailors – pizza, chicken wings and a drink

Adult – rotisserie chicken and a choice of two sides - $12 per person

Child (non-sailors) – pizza, chicken wings and a drink - $10 per person

BREAKFAST UNDER THE FIG TREE – 7.30AM

-      Tuna & grits

-      Pancakes with bacon & eggs

-      Tea, coffee & juice

 

Adults - $7 per person

Kids - $5 per person

-      Hot Dogs / Chili Dogs, Jello & juice

DINNER AT SUNSETS, ROMORA BAY – 7.15PM

BY THE SAILING CLUB BOATHOUSE – 7.15PM

-      Green Salad or Coleslaw

-      Cake

-      Juice

 

Adults - $15 per person

Kids – $10 per person

 

 

WE ARE HOPING TO KEEP THIS EVENT AS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AS POSSIBLE AND ARE USING BIODEGRADABLE PLATES, BOWLS AND CUTLERY AT AS MANY VENUES AS WE CAN.

 

ALL SAILORS WILL GET A WATER BOTTLE IN THEIR GOODY BAG AND WE WILL HAVE WATER STATIONS AT THE RACE SITE SO THAT THEY CAN REFILL THEIR BOTTLES WHEN NEEDED.  PLEASE TRY TO AVOID BRINGING PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES TO THE RACE SITE.
